What does “Trusted Devices” mean in the eKey2.0 App

Modified on Thu, 6 Aug at 10:48 AM

When you log in to a government or private sector website using eKey 2.0, you may be prompted with a message asking whether you want to mark the browser or device as "trusted."
If you select “Yes”, the browser is added to your Trusted Devices list, making future logins faster by skipping certain steps in the authentication process.

You can manage your Trusted Devices anytime from the “More” tab in the app.
To remove a browser or device, simply go to the Trusted Devices section and tap the "X" next to the one you wish to remove.
